Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sales Lot Attendant to join our Sales team in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of vehicle inventory, assisting with vehicle movement, and ensuring cars are presented professionally and safely.

Job Details

  • Salary: $12 to $16 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of new and pre-owned vehicle lots.
  • Safely move, park, and organize vehicles throughout the dealership property.
  • Assist with vehicle deliveries by ensuring sold units are clean, fueled, and ready for customer pickup.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and readiness before and after test drives or deliveries.
  • Support Sales team by staging vehicles for customer appointments, photos, and displays.
  • Maintain showroom vehicle presentation, including battery checks and positioning.
  • Assist with snow removal, lot cleanup, and general facility upkeep as needed.
  • Conduct basic maintenance checks such as tire pressure, fuel levels, and battery condition.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide prompt and professional assistance to managers and sales staff.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions year-round.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and vehicle movement required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Schedule may include weekends or evenings with some flexibility.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous automotive or porter experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Capability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
